Spam: The other white meat

Ok, it was seriously behind schedule, but views integration for XSPF playlists is finally in a development phase. This lets you output xspf formated data from a view- it will take the label you assign to a field and use that as the tag. Remember- development version.

Thanks to some help from joachim , I did some work to create an integration between the Audio module and XSPF Playlist. This means that if you have been using the Audio module to organize and play audio content, you can add in the XSPF Playlist module and the XSPF Audio module to get xspf playlists for your audio files. This is helpful if you are trying to to feed your audio files to a flash player for example.

The Hub is a Drupal driven portal for human rights content. There are a variety of really interesting implementations of various aspects that it does, but the one I want to focus on is functionality that was just released that connects user uploaded content back to to the player.

The XSPF Playlist module finally supports Views in a more appropriate way. Previously, you could get it to display a view by passing a view name to the module. This was cumbersome and didn't handle arguments for views well. Plus somebody would sooner or later figure out how to exploit it as it was giving way to much freedom to what was being passed via URL stream.
