Media Browser: Round 3 - Integration With FileField

In the last round I showed a proof of concept. This time we're moving rapidly toward something functional- we've got a browser actually attached to a filefield, a pseudo UI, a much clearer idea of where our direction needs to go, and some eye candy. Checkout the screencast!

Arthur, this looks awesome!

Arthur, this looks awesome! The last update on the media browser module dates from June. Are you expecting an update soon? The closest thing to this functionality is using Filefield + IMCE + Filefield Sources.

Quite a bit further along

Things have been moving quite a bit further. The work being done is in the D7 branch and I know Jacob Singh and Aaron Winborn have been really pushing things ahead. Check the last demo I did here: http://24b6.net/2009/11/13/media-browser-round-4-ui
